In a very surprise twist so close to the release date, it has been revealed the starting Pokemon will not be Chespin, Fenikin or Froakie... It's much better. Players will now have to choose between SQUIRTLE, CHARMANDER and you guessed it, BULBASAUR!!!
That's right your new starters are the original 3, and now they all have Mega evolutions to boot! Check the video below to see them in action!
In other news 2 new apps will be released on the 3DS eShop for Pokemon, the Pokemon Bank and Pokemon Transfer System. The Pokemon bank is a subscription service that allows you to drop your Pokemon off into the Pokemon bank and transfer them easily between Pokemon X and Y. The Poketransfer app simply copies all of your Pokemon from Black and White 1 and 2 into your Pokebank. The Pokebank will have a yearly fee but knowing Nintendo, the expense should be minimal. Also I should note these are addition features not required to play or use Pokemon and are simply for convenience.
So now the big changes are here, the main question will be, Who do you choose?
