Nintendo Direct Surprise!

Direct to our hearts...
Many gamers woke up this morning (including myself) to a late Valentines Day present from Nintendo. Mainly focused on the 3DS, the latest announcements show just how far the 3DS has come and despite a rough start, has started to hit its stride. Here are just a few announcements...

-Animal Crossing to be released June 9.
-Dillons Rolling Western sequel to hit eShop.
-Luigi confirmed as DLC for New Mario Bros Wii U.
-Mario Golf headed to 3DS this year.
-Donkey Kong Country Returns sequel to hit 3DS this year.
-Another new Pokemon confirmed for X&Y called Sylveon.
-Mighty Switch Force heading to Wii U eShop.
-Mario and Luigi Dream Team RPG headed to 3DS.
-Harvest Moon and Legend of the River King headed to 3DS Virtual Console.
-Fire Emblem exclusive 3DS bundle confirmed.
-Zelda Miiverse added to Wii U (It's live as we speak)
-Monster Hunter packs confirmed for Wii U and 3DS.
-Mario and Donkey Kong to have new eShop game.
and finally Code of Princess to get EUR digital eShop release.

Phew! I know a lot of gamers are going to be excited about this one including our new Nintendo staff member who will be introduced next week. Once again Nintendo have shown that an old dog can learn new tricks and with these announcements, have secured the future of the 3DS.
