Rule #2 - The Double Tap

The double tap is the idea that shooting a zombie twice in the head prevents them from coming back... In honor of the trusty double tap, here are five zombie games that could have done with it.

5. World War Z iPhone

A not on rails on rails shooter. Yes I know that doesn't make sense, neither does this game. You walk around to certain spots where the game locks you into place in a shooting gallery mode. It was a very wasted opportunity.

4. Neverdead

Interesting concept, terrible execution. Neverdead was a new IP featuring a quirky character who could throw his own head as a weapon. That's... about... it... Thankfully this game bombed commercially so a sequel was promptly double tapped and buried.

3. The War Z

A game so bad Steam actually pulled it from its servers. Essentially a copy of Day Z. Looks ok but when you start playing you come to understand that the game must have been bitten sometime during development...

2. Walking Dead Survival Instinct

Take a popular TV series, one of its most popular characters, and then put them in a completely broken game. Enjoy hitting a zombie around 50 times until it finally dies then realize you can relate to said zombie as playing Survivor Instinct is as fun ad being bashed in the head with a crowbar. Shameless cash in.

1. Amy
the look of horror is realizing this game got released...

Imagine a giant escort quest... Now imagine broken controls and non existent AI and you have Amy. I'm almost certain the highest score reviewers gave this game was 3/10. The idea of Amy is that you have to stay near the girl (Amy) otherwise you become zombified. If you do become zombified you have to head back to her as soon as you can to be cured. All this begs the question, if you are near Amy and attacked by zombies, why aren't they cured? Its about as enjoyable as getting eaten alive by Zombies.
